Gadwal: On Friday, Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, the General Manager of South Central Railway (SCR), inspected the Dhone–Kacheguda railway section. Lokesh Vishnoi, the Divisional Railway Manager of the Hyderabad Division, and other senior officials joined him.
The inspection began with a thorough check from the rear window of the train. Srivastava focused on track safety, bridge conditions, and signaling systems.
At Kurnool City Railway Station, he assessed passenger amenities and station facilities. He also checked the progress of the redevelopment under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS). In the Coach Mid Life Rehabilitation (CMLR) Workshop, he looked into safety and operational efficiency.
At Jogulamba Railway Station, Srivastava inspected the waiting hall and other amenities. He reviewed the ABSS redevelopment work there as well.
The next stop was Gadwal Railway Station, where he evaluated ABSS redevelopment and checked safety at the construction site.
At Mahbubnagar Railway Station, he reviewed station amenities, spoke with staff, and checked the pace of ABSS redevelopment. He stressed the importance of safety and urged officials to speed up work to meet deadlines.
During the inspection, trade union representatives met Srivastava, offering suggestions and demands for future rail development. He also updated the media on infrastructure and passenger projects in the South Central Railway zone.
