Hyderabad: Telangana is experiencing severe rainfall, prompting BJP State President N. Ramchander Rao to urge party members to join relief efforts. He announced today that the party is organizing its members throughout the state to help with emergency actions.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued alerts in various colors, including red, orange, and yellow, for many districts in Telangana. These warnings highlight risks of flooding, traffic issues, sewage spills, and potential power failures. Low-lying areas and regions near rivers are particularly at risk.
After receiving the IMD alerts on Wednesday, Rao stated that the BJP is ready to assist with relief operations across the state. He has directed party workers to take immediate action. Their tasks include moving people from dangerous areas to safer places, distributing food and clean water, offering medical support, and assisting the elderly and children impacted by the heavy rains.
