Hyderabad: The BJP is increasing its efforts in the Jubilee Hills by-election. Union Minister G Kishan Reddy led a door-to-door campaign in Rehmatnagar and nearby slums on Saturday.
Reddy spoke with residents, emphasizing the party’s focus on fixing long-standing civic issues in the area.
During media interactions, Reddy criticized the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), accusing them of ignoring Jubilee Hills despite their two-term rule. He noted that while nearby areas like Khairatabad and Serilingampally have developed, Jubilee Hills is still plagued with problems.
Reddy also accused the Congress of secretly aligning with AIMIM. He claimed Congress is staging a drama by not fielding an AIMIM candidate and warned voters that supporting Congress is like supporting AIMIM. He urged voters to choose BJP for better drainage, infrastructure, and essential services.
From Sunday, BJP plans to intensify its campaign, with senior leaders joining to strengthen voter outreach. With the by-election approaching, Jubilee Hills has become a hub of political action, and BJP’s energetic campaign shows they are serious about making a mark in this urban constituency.
