BOI introduces fixed deposits with appealing returns

Bank of India has launched a new fixed deposit scheme called ‘666 Days – Champion Fixed Deposit’. This scheme offers high returns on deposits, with Super Senior Citizens getting up to 7.95% p.a. for 666 days for deposit amounts less than Rs 2 crore.

For senior citizens, the interest rate is 7.80% p.a., while for others it is 7.30% p.a. These rates are applicable for domestic, NRO, and NRE Rupee Term deposits starting from June 1, 2024.

Customers can avail of a loan against their fixed deposit and also have the option of premature withdrawal. To open a ‘666 Days – Champion Fixed Deposit’, customers can visit any Bank of India branch or use the BOI Omni Neo App/internet banking.
