Osmania University in Hyderabad recently signed two agreements to improve sustainability and preserve heritage on campus. The first partnership is with the Society for the Advancement of Human Endeavour (SAHE), an NGO. They will work together to restore three historical stepwells at OU: the Adikmet stepwell, the stepwell near the University of Education block, and the stepwell near the Mechanical Engineering block.

The second Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) involves Saahas, an NGO focused on solid waste management, and Ahuja Engineering Services Pvt Ltd. Their goal is to set up a biogas unit with a capacity of 2 Tonnes Per Day (TPD) within the university campus.
