In Mahabubnagar, Devarakadra MLA G. Madhusudhan Reddy announced on Wednesday that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has initiated plans to set up a BrahMos missile manufacturing facility in the area. This move aims to create new job opportunities for local youth. The MLA thanked the Chief Minister for personally working with the company’s founders to make this happen in Palamuru.
During the event, the MLA highlighted that as a native of Palamuru, CM Revanth Reddy has kept his pledge to allocate ₹20,000 crore each year for the development of the region. In the Devarakadra constituency, several projects have been approved, including the Young India Integrated School, a new degree college, and healthcare facilities.
The MLA also mentioned ongoing development projects like the allocation of ₹110 crore for building a road to Kurumurthi Temple and the approval of a new court for Devarakadra. He urged the government to consider creating an industrial corridor along the national highway to boost employment.
Madhusudhan Reddy further requested ₹30 crore for the development of the newly formed Devarakadra Municipality, a degree college in Kottakota, and a trauma care unit in Musapet to assist during highway accidents.
The event saw the presence of several notable figures, including State Animal Husbandry and Sports Minister Venkati Srihari, Excise and Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, Nagarkurnool MP Mallu Ravi, Planning Commission Vice Chairman G. Chinna Reddy, and other prominent officials and leaders.
