The BRS party in Hyderabad claimed that upper caste leaders of the Congress party insulted Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Minister Konda Surekha at Yadadri Temple. During a press conference, BRS party leaders Balka Suman, Devi Prasad, and Vasu Deva Reddy said that the deputy CM and Konda Surekha were made to sit on the floor while the wife of the CM was given a chair next to the deputy CM.

They asked CM Revanth Reddy who Dalit people should turn to if even a Dalit leader like Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka faced disrespect at a temple. The BRS party alleged that Dalits have been insulted by the Congress party since independence. They also claimed that Vikramarka’s images were removed from government advertisements after the Congress formed the government.
