KTR noted that achieving the state was a collective effort, realized through the sacrifices of martyrs, government employees, students, and society.

In a press conference, BRS MLC D Sravan Kumar criticized the Seemandhra rulers for exploiting Telangana when it was part of undivided Andhra Pradesh. He praised KCR for leading the Telangana movement since 2001, focusing on the fight for the state, not personal gains.

He highlighted KCR’s contributions to making Telangana agrarian by introducing pensions, 24-hour electricity, 50% reservation for women in local elections, crop loans, and establishing villages, mandals, and municipalities.
