The GHMC Municipal corporation meeting in Hyderabad on Saturday was chaotic as BRS corporators protested for the resignation of Mayor Gadwal Vijaya Lakshmi. BJP corporators also protested for better drainage systems in the city.
Various political representatives, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs, and ex-officio members, attended the meeting. BRS corporators demanded the resignation of the mayor and deputy mayor for switching from BRS to the Congress party.
In response, the mayor criticized the BRS corporators for promoting party defections and urged them to be ashamed of their actions. She expressed anger at their protest and defended her position.
The meeting saw a heated exchange between the different parties present, with tensions running high.
