On Monday, State Industries Minister KT Rama Rao criticized the BJP government for their double standards when it comes to GST. He pointed out that ordinary people are charged GST on basic items like milk and curd, but corporate giants like the Adani Group are exempt. The Adani Group recently took over the Jaipur International Airport from the Airports Authority of India and were exempt from paying GST on the transfer.

He also criticized the BJP for their opportunistic politics over their stand on freebies.
