In Nagarkurnool district, certificate verification for candidates shortlisted for teaching positions at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) was completed on Saturday. The process took place at the District Education Officer’s (DEO) office, located in the integrated Collectorate office. This information was shared by Shobharani, the Girl Child Education Monitoring Officer.
Out of 41 vacant teaching positions at the KGBVs, seven posts that were reserved for specific categories will remain vacant because no eligible candidates were available for those positions.
For the remaining 34 subject-specific vacancies, 92 candidates were invited for certificate verification, but only 65 candidates attended. Additionally, for two vacancies at the Urban Residential School in Nagarkurnool, four out of the five called candidates showed up for the verification.
Several officials were involved in the verification process, including Samagra Shiksha Statistics Officer Madhusudhan Reddy, Nodal Officer Kurumayya, and Sectorial Officers Sharfuddin, Nooruddin, and Muralidhar Reddy. YGF Secretary Pandu and Section Clerk Venkataram Reddy were also present.
