MS Dhoni scored 20 runs off nine balls for CSK, while Ravindra Jadeja contributed 21 runs. Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav and Lalit Yadav took four wickets for DC, while Mitchell Marsh took three wickets.
The win helped CSK consolidate their position at the second spot in the points table, while DC’s chances of reaching the playoffs were dented.
