    Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy paid tribute to Mahatma Jyotiba Phule on his 198th birth anniversary. He praised Phule for his contributions to the country and his fight against caste discrimination. The CM emphasized how Phule’s journey from an ordinary person to a social activist is inspiring for everyone.

    Revanth Reddy mentioned that Phule’s dedication to equality and ending societal discrimination is commendable. He also highlighted the government’s efforts to empower women, such as providing free bus travel and affordable gas cylinders under the Mahalakshmi scheme. These initiatives are part of the six guarantees introduced by the government.

    On the first day of the new State government, Pragati Bhavan was renamed Mahatma Jyothiba Phule Praja Bhavan in honor of Phule. The CM emphasized how Phule’s work for the advancement of backward classes and Dalits continues to inspire those working towards societal welfare.
