    Telangana Chief Minister Enumala Revanth Reddy inaugurated the headquarters building of the Telangana State Disaster Response and Fire Services Department. The ceremony, held at Nanakramguda in Rangareddy District, marked a pivotal moment in the state’s preparedness to tackle various contingencies effectively.

    The inaugural event, which took place on Sunday, witnessed the virtual inauguration of the Sanat Nagar Fire Office, underscoring the government’s commitment to modernizing firefighting infrastructure across the region. Notable dignitaries including Former MLC Patnam Mahender Reddy, Director of Journal Nagireddy, and Kridai President Rajasekhar Reddy graced the occasion alongside Bhaskar Rao, Chairman, and Managing Director of Kims, symbolically lighting the ceremonial torch.

    Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed his satisfaction in initiating the establishment of the fire department headquarters and command control, emphasizing the multifaceted role of firefighters beyond combating fires. He lauded their indispensable contributions in addressing road accidents, floods, and building collapses, highlighting their role in safeguarding lives amid perilous situations.

    Reflecting on the city’s development trajectory over the past three decades, the Chief Minister acknowledged the strides made under previous administrations, pledging to build upon their legacy irrespective of political affiliations. He underscored the government’s commitment to realizing ambitious infrastructure projects such as the regional ring road and expanding metro connectivity, envisaging comprehensive urban and rural development in tandem with the 2050 Mega Master Plan.

    Responding to concerns regarding urban planning and environmental sustainability, Chief Minister Reddy assured meticulous deliberation in future decisions, particularly regarding the establishment of Farm City clusters and township construction around Hyderabad. He emphasized the imperative of mitigating pollution and ensuring responsible development practices, affirming the government’s intent to engage constructively with stakeholders to achieve these objectives.
