    TATA Steel Meramandali (TSM) received a Certificate of Appreciation at the CII Safety Health and Environment (SHE) Excellence Awards 2022-23 in the large-scale manufacturing sector in the eastern region. The award was presented during the 17th Safety Symposium and Exposition, organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Eastern Region, in Kolkata. TSM was recognized for its commitment to creating a safe and sustainable work environment.

    In addition, Angul Energy Limited (AEL) was the winner of the SHE Awards in the Medium Scale Manufacturing sector. The award was received by Agam Kumar, Chief Safety at TSM; Upendra Prasad Yadav, Head Workplace Safety at TSM; Dinesh Parwal, Divisional Manager at AEL, and others on behalf of TSM and AEL.

    The symposium aimed to discuss how Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) professionals can drive cultural change and enhance collaboration to improve Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) management. The focus was on delivering superior Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performances for organizations.
