People living in various areas of Hyderabad should prepare for low water pressure and possible interruptions in their drinking water supply. This is expected to last about 36 hours as the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board conducts essential maintenance and upgrades on the Manjeera Phase 3 system.

Officials have announced that this work will start at 8 am on March 7 and continue until 8 pm on March 8. During this time, the Water Board will update 35-year-old high tension electrical panels at the Peddapur pump house, which is essential for supplying the city with drinking water.

This upgrade will involve installing new electrical systems to improve safety and reliability. In addition to the electrical changes, maintenance crews will repair and replace air valves and air vents on key pipelines.
