CM inaugurates projects worth Rs 879.8 crore

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy visited Wanaparthy on Sunday to launch several development projects. The event took place at the Government Junior College in the district headquarters. These projects will be carried out under the supervision of the Panchayat Raj Department.

The projects include the construction of a ₹40-crore BT road in Wanaparthy district and mandals. A new government hospital building will be built for ₹510 crore. An IT Tower will be constructed at a cost of ₹22 crore. Additionally, ₹47.5 crore has been allocated for the construction of buildings for ZPHS and the government junior college.

A ₹200-crore Young India Integrated Residential School is also part of the development plans. Other projects include a ₹11.20-crore 30-bed hospital in Pebbair and ₹1.5 crore for tourism development at the Srirangapur temple. Additionally, ₹35 crore has been set aside for CRR road works, while ₹12.60 crore will be used to improve tribal hostels in the Wanaparthy constituency.

The Chief Minister also inaugurated a comprehensive survey for the Kasimnagar Lift Irrigation Scheme.

Several officials accompanied Reddy during his visit. These included Nagar Kurnool MP Dr. Mallu Ravi, Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha, Excise & Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, Wanaparthy MLA Thudi Megha Reddy, State Planning Board Vice-Chairman Dr. G Chinna Reddy, Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, District Collector Adarsh Surabhi, and senior officials from various state departments.
