Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has expressed regret after the Supreme Court disapproved of his recent comments. He had suggested that the release of BRS leader K Kavitha was part of a political deal between BRS and BJP.

The Supreme Court criticized the Chief Minister during a hearing on a petition that sought to transfer a trial related to a 2015 cash-for-vote case outside Telangana.

Following this, Revanth Reddy posted a statement on X (formerly known as Twitter), stating that he has the highest regard and full faith in the Indian judiciary. He clarified that his comments were not meant to question the wisdom of the court.
