Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy recently met with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella in Hyderabad. The meeting was attended by key ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Sridhar Babu, and the Chief Secretary. They discussed how to strengthen Microsoft’s presence in Telangana and explored opportunities for further investments in the state.
During the meeting, Microsoft announced its plan to set up six data centers in Telangana. This is seen as a major step in boosting the state’s technological infrastructure. The Chief Minister assured Nadella of a business-friendly environment and invited Microsoft to consider investing in other areas like artificial intelligence and cloud computing.
Another key topic of discussion was the establishment of a Skill University in Telangana. This initiative aims to provide advanced technical education and equip students with skills relevant to the industry. CM Revanth Reddy emphasized the state’s focus on innovation and digital transformation, highlighting efforts to make Telangana a hub for technology and talent development.
