Chief Minister Revanth Reddy recently visited Genome Valley in Samirpet to inaugurate the new Icore Biologics Industry. This event also saw the presence of Ministers Sridhar Babu and Vivek, along with top officials and stakeholders.
During his speech, CM Reddy emphasized the importance of Genome Valley in making Telangana a prominent name in biotechnology. He mentioned that Genome Valley alone is responsible for producing 33% of India’s vaccines. He added that during the global Covid-19 crisis, Telangana successfully manufactured vaccines and supplied them worldwide.
The launch of Icore Biologics aims to boost Telangana’s global standing in the biotech sector and further its role in vaccine innovation and production.
