Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy plans a two-day trip to Delhi starting Thursday. He will meet the Congress leaders and could also talk with Union Ministers about important topics. On the first day, he is set to meet former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
One main focus of the CM’s visit is to address issues with the Banakacharla project. He and a group of MPs plan to meet Union Jal Shakti Minister C R Patil to share the state’s concerns. Telangana is worried about water sharing as the AP government continues building this project. To strengthen their argument, Telangana Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy will present a detailed report on how the project might affect Telangana’s water supply.
Revanth Reddy will also have discussions with Tony Blair about foreign investments and development opportunities in Telangana. While meeting with AICC leaders, he is expected to talk about filling party and nominated posts. Plans for upcoming public meetings in the state are also on the agenda.
