CM to give appointment letters to chosen VGOs tomorrow

The government has tasked district Collector Adarsh Surabhi with organizing the distribution of appointment letters for those who passed the Village Governance Officers (VGO) exams.

CM A Revanth Reddy will officially present these letters in Hyderabad on September 5.

During a meeting on Wednesday at the Collectorate, senior CCL official Lokesh Kumar reviewed the VGO orders report with Surabhi. In Wanaparthy district, there are 133 clusters within 228 village panchayats across 15 mandals. From 135 exam participants, 109 candidates qualified. Out of these, 81 candidates will receive appointment letters to become VGOs.

The collector instructed officials to ensure all arrangements are in place for the beneficiaries’ trip to Hyderabad for the event with the CM.

Additional collector (revenue) N Khimya Naik, collectorate AO Bhanu Prakash, and RDO Subrahmanyam also attended the meeting.
