Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will kick off a program to distribute new ration cards on Monday in Tirumalagiri, located in the Thungathurthy constituency.
Civil Supplies Commissioner D S Chauhan has assured that all eligible individuals will receive ration cards. He emphasized that no one should worry about being left out, as the government plans to include everyone who qualifies. The state has registered 27,83,346 new members, resulting in 5,61,343 new ration cards. This initiative will cost the government an extra Rs 1,151 crore annually.
In Suryapet District, Collector Tejas Nandlal Pawar reported that 23,870 new ration cards have been distributed from a total of 3,24,165. In the Thungathurthy constituency alone, 4,230 new cards have been issued from 61,715 total cards.
