    Khanapur: Nirmal district Collector Abhilasha Abhinav directed officials to work together on developing forest areas.

    On Tuesday, she met with officials from the Revenue, Forest, Electricity, R&B, Panchayat Raj, and Irrigation departments at the Collectorate.

    She urged them to submit proposals to the Forest department for building roads, bridges, and electricity in remote tribal and forest areas. She emphasized obtaining permission from the Forest department before starting any project. Each department should create a coordinated action plan.

    She highlighted the need to use the Parivesh portal to get approval for power line projects. She stressed the importance of completing these development programs swiftly. She also asked the Forest department to quickly provide necessary guidelines to other departments.

    Additional Collector Kishore Kumar, District Forest Officer Nagini Bhanu, RDO Ratnakalyan, and officials from Engineering, Revenue, and Electricity departments were present at the meeting.
