Mulugu District Collector Ila Tripathi recently held a video conference with District mandals and Election Officers from Gangaram and Kothaguda. The purpose of the conference was to discuss what actions should be taken regarding duplicate photos in the voter list.

During the conference, the district Collector emphasized the need for clusters in the district to examine the voter lists and create a checklist with remarks for the Booth Level Officers (BLOs). This examination would be done through a house-to-house survey. If the same person is found registered in multiple polling stations, they should only be kept as a voter in one station and removed from the others based on the voter’s decision. The deadline for completing this process is Saturday evening.
