Collector Santosh inspects housing and women’s association projects

Gadwal: On Saturday, District Collector B.M. Santosh visited the completed double-bedroom houses near Doudarpally and handed over the keys to new homeowners.

He urged officials to finish any remaining construction tasks quickly. The goal is to ensure all residents can move in soon and enjoy necessary amenities.

The Collector stressed the need for ward officers, guided by the Municipal Commissioner, to educate residents and assist them in settling smoothly. He asked officials to immediately handle electricity connections and wrap up pending painting and drainage tasks.

To ensure adequate drinking water, the Collector highlighted the importance of completing the 200 KL capacity OHSR water tank under Mission Bhagiratha within a month.

Earlier, he checked on the progress of the District Women’s Association Building near Doudarpally. He set a target to finish this building by the end of November.

Municipal Commissioner Janakiram, Electricity Department SE Srinivas Reddy, Panchayat Raj Department EE Prabhakar, Mission Bhagiratha AE Noor, and other officials joined the Collector during the visit.
