Kothagudem: A computer operator named Navkranth was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday at the Thasildhar office in Burgumphad for accepting a Rs 2,500 bribe.
ACB DSP YV Ramesh explained to the media that Navkranth initially demanded Rs 4,000 from a person to upload a ration card. The person agreed but reported the incident to the ACB. As a result, the computer operator was caught during the transaction.
Ramesh mentioned that this arrest marks the 11th corruption case in the last six months. He encouraged people to stay vigilant and report any corrupt activities to ACB officers.
