AICC spokesperson Sujatha Paul criticized the freezing of Congress party’s bank accounts, calling it undemocratic. She questioned the timing of this action, which occurred during the announcement of the election notification.
She made these remarks while speaking to the media in Alair, alongside local MLA Beerla Ilaiah, DCC president Sanjeev Reddy, PCC vice president Shobha Rani, PCC official spokesperson Bandi Sudhakar Goud, and others. Paul accused the ruling BJP of amassing large funds through electoral bonds while impeding the Congress party’s preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls by freezing its accounts.
She asserted that if the country wants fair and free elections, the Congress party’s bank accounts must be unfrozen promptly.
