Hyderabad, June 27 (Namaste Telangana): Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy’s entry into the T-Congress as a senior leader has created a stir. The party meeting scheduled to be held on July 2 in Khammam has been postponed. Should this meeting be held for the farewell of Shrinivas Reddy from Ponguleti? Or should CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka conclude his padyatra? There is no consensus on this issue in the TPCC.

Revant Reddy, the TPCC president, opposed the idea of conducting a meeting for Shrinivas Reddy’s entry into the party, while the opposition group led by Bhatti Vikramarka demanded that his 100-day padyatra be concluded with a meeting. A strategy committee meeting of the party was held in Delhi on Tuesday, attended by party president Mallikarjun Kharge and party leader Rahul Gandhi. This meeting took place to discuss the strategy for the upcoming Telangana elections. The clash between Khammam Sabha and TPCC leaders has limited their activities.

Revant Reddy informed that there are allegations against Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy by his supporters and senior leaders of sending seniors out of the party. He suggested that if such infighting continues within the party, it will be difficult for the party to come to power in Telangana. This information was given indirectly by Rahul Gandhi in his warning to Revant Reddy that if they lose the support of the people by suppressing everyone, the party will ignore them.

MP Uttam Kumar Reddy and Working President Jagga Reddy also expressed their views on the issue of leadership in the party and the allegations of defamation. They suggested that Revant Reddy should be removed from his position as he is trying to undermine Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy’s entry into the party. News of a possible split in the TPCC due to differences in opinion on Shrinivas Reddy’s entry into the party and the allegations against him has been circulating among senior leaders in the district, which is why they have suggested postponing the elections.

    Main discussion on Khammam Sabha

There has been more discussion on the Sabha to be held in Khammam on July 2. Revant Reddy argued that a meeting should be held on the stage for Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy’s entry, while only the opposition group, led by CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka, demanded that his padyatra be concluded with a meeting. Senior leaders have accused Revant Reddy of trying to downplay Bhatti’s padyatra by reducing it. The TPCC leaders had a meeting to discuss how to conduct the Khammam Sabha. The party leaders unanimously agreed to hold a meeting for Shrinivas Reddy’s entry into the party and announced that they would put forward demands related to elections until the elections are announced. This information has been shared with the media during a peaceful strategy meeting.
