Hyderabad: TPCC Secretary Mohd. Saleem has accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of misleading the public since the BJP took power in 2014. According to him, Modi made false promises such as bringing back black money from Swiss banks, creating two crore jobs annually, and eradicating corruption in India.
He also criticized Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for her recent actions. Saleem claimed that reducing GST to two slabs of 5% and 18% was a minor relief, while the government continued to burden people with high fuel prices.
Saleem argued that despite Russia offering crude oil to India at a low price of Rs 34, Modi’s administration charges the public three times the international rates. He alleged this practice has been ongoing since Modi’s government began in 2014.
