Hyderabad was saddened by the news of the passing of Jaber Patel, a revered figure in both politics and business. Patel, a prominent member of the Congress Party and a well-known entrepreneur in Hyderabad, breathed his last after being rushed to Apollo Hospital in Hyderguda. Family sources revealed that he had complained of severe chest pain before his untimely demise. His body has since been transferred from Apollo Hospital to his residence in Red Hills, where mourners gather to pay their respects.

Jaber Patel’s legacy extends beyond his business acumen. He was widely recognized as one of Hyderabad’s and India’s most successful traders. Additionally, he held the esteemed position of founder president of the India-Arab Friendship Foundation, fostering diplomatic ties between nations. Furthermore, his passion for sports led to his nomination as the overseas head of the Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA), a role in which he worked tirelessly to advance the association’s cricket initiatives nationwide. Patel’s dedication to promoting cricket was evident in his selection by JCA representatives and Executive Committee members to bolster the organization’s activities.
