Customs officials confiscate gold valued at Rs 58.8 lakh

Customs Air Intelligence officials in Hyderabad seized 806 grams of gold worth Rs 58.8 lakh from a passenger at the RGI Airport. The passenger had arrived from Abu Dhabi and hidden the gold powder in his private parts. Customs officials arrested him as he exited the plane, following a tip-off, and recovered the gold. An investigation is now ongoing.
