Hyderabad: During the festival of Ashada Bonalu at Sri Golkonda Jagadamba Mahankali Ammavari, Hyderabad City Police Commissioner CV Anand personally checked the security from the Langar House intersection to Golkonda Fort.
Commissioner Anand visited Jagadambika Ammavari and performed special prayers for blessings.
With thousands of devotees expected on the first day of Bonam, officials have been instructed to avoid any public inconvenience.
CV Anand assured that the Crime Police have set up strong surveillance to prevent pickpocketing and chain snatching. SHE Teams are in place to stop eve-teasing. All measures are in place to ensure safety.
Other police officials present included Vikram Singh Mann, D. Joel Davis, K Apoorva Rao, D. Chandramohan, and Ande Srinivasa Rao.
