Hyderabad – The Cyberabad Police have introduced a new official website at https://cyberabadpolice.gov.in to improve transparency and public services.
This website is designed to be user-friendly for people of all ages. Important alerts and updates will be shared promptly to keep the community informed.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty emphasized that this platform is a key resource for residents, offering real-time updates and a modern, mobile-friendly design for easy access on various devices.
The website provides announcements, alerts, and safety tips. A notable feature is a QR scanner for citizen feedback, allowing people to rate police performance. A jurisdiction finder, linked to Google Maps, helps users locate the nearest police station and get directions.
Citizens can apply online for permissions, No-Objection Certificates (NOCs), and licenses for events like marathons and music shows. There are options for NOCs related to controlled blasting and licenses for loudspeakers, simplifying procedures and reducing trips to police stations. Victims of cybercrime can also request account defreezing online.
The site offers contact details for officials, information about police stations by sector, and traffic services like E-challans and real-time traffic alerts in Cyberabad. Users can also report traffic violations and check the status of passport applications and police verification.
Awareness programs on public safety, cybercrime prevention, and community engagement are highlighted, alongside the latest news and press releases.
Future plans include a login feature for gun license holders. The police are also looking to add more dynamic features and integrate with e-Governance systems like MeeSeva to further improve public service and engagement.
