Hyderabad: The Director General of Police (DGP) of Telangana, Dr. Jitender, congratulated three young individuals from police families who have successfully cleared the Civil Services Examination.
He said it was a proud moment to see the children of police officers reach such high positions. He encouraged them to use their careers to serve and make a positive impact on society.
The congratulatory event took place at the DGP office on Thursday. Senior officials, including CID DG Shikha Goel, Additional DGP Anil Kumar, and Inspectors General M Ramesh and M Srinivas, were also present at the event.
Among those honored was J Sai Chaitanya, who secured an All India Rank (AIR) of 68. He is the son of J Govindu, a head constable working in Dichpally. Another achiever, A Kaushik Narasimha, got rank 225 and is the son of A Venugopal, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at the DGP office. The third, T Surya Teja, who secured rank 779, is the son of T Karunakar, a Chief Marshal in the Telangana Assembly.
Additional DGP Mahesh M Bhagwat, who mentored the three candidates, shared his joy at their success. He mentioned that J Govindu had worked under him when he was the Superintendent of Police (SP) in Adilabad. He also said he had guided both Surya Teja and Sai Chaitanya last year during their selection for the Indian Forest Service.
