In some areas, there are two candidates from the same party who want to run in the next election. This is causing some disagreement within the party. For example, in Tandur, both Pilot Rohit Reddy and MLC Patnam Mahender Reddy want to represent the BRS party in the next election. Similarly, in Station Ghanpur, Kadiyam Srihari and T Rajaiah are both hoping to get the ticket. In Medak, Mynampally Hanumanth Rao’s son is seeking the ticket against sitting MLA Padma Devender Reddy.

Some party leaders think that this competition is good because it will inspire the candidates to work harder for the party and the people. However, others worry that it might cause problems. The party high command has told everyone to work together for the party. The party is also worried that if a senior leader leaves the party, there will not be anyone to fill their place.
