    Telangana state Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Vikas Raj conducted a meeting with representatives of Recognised Political Parties on Wednesday. The purpose of the meeting was to improve collaboration and understanding between the electoral administration and political stakeholders.

    The meeting started with a presentation on the electoral framework, specifically the second special revision of electoral rolls for 2023. The CEO discussed not only Electoral Rolls but also Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and training initiatives for Election Officials. The efforts made in the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign were also explained in detail.

    The meeting provided a platform for constructive dialogue, with representatives from various Political Parties sharing valuable insights and recommendations. There was a focus on effectively disseminating Booth Level Officer (BLO) details and ensuring their proper functioning.

    Vikas Raj emphasized his commitment to maintaining the integrity of the electoral process and highlighted the importance of collaboration between electoral authorities and political parties.
