In a major setback to the BRS government, the ECI has canceled its approval to distribute the Rythu Bandhu amount to 67 Lakh farmers on 28th November.
The reason for cancellation stated in the notice is that BRS Minister Harish Rao in a rally on 26th November made a statement saying “Distribution of Rythu Bandhu will begin from 27th November” which violated the code of conduct policy of ECI.
