Expressing his gratitude, Maruthi thanked the party leadership for trusting him with this responsibility. He pointed out significant delays by the state government in releasing funds for fee reimbursements and scholarships, which have caused hardships for students and college managements. According to Maruthi, many private colleges, especially those run by middle-class families, are struggling with debt and are on the verge of closure due to the government’s inaction.
