Hyderabad: On Friday, Dr. Yogita Rana, the Secretary of Telangana’s Education Department, visited a teacher training center in Ranga Reddy district to review the progress of ongoing teacher development programs.
During her visit, she stressed the importance of delivering quality education to every student across the state. She urged teachers to apply the skills and knowledge gained from training directly in their classrooms to improve learning outcomes.
Dr. Rana highlighted that teachers should show a visible improvement in their teaching approach after completing the training. This change, she said, is key to raising educational standards throughout Telangana.
She also encouraged teachers to use effective teaching-learning materials to help students understand lessons more clearly. According to her, the right tools can make lessons more engaging and meaningful for students.
Another major focus was on increasing student enrolment in government schools. Dr. Rana promoted the ongoing ‘Badi Bata’ (School Enrolment Drive) campaign, which aims to bring more children into the public education system.
While speaking with the teachers, she asked for their feedback on the training sessions and what new strategies they had learned. Her visit emphasized the state government’s commitment to strengthening the education system through better teacher support and professional development.
