Indian leaders have extended greetings to the Muslim community for the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and All-India Congress Committee leader Rahul Gandhi both sent messages on Twitter wishing peace, happiness, and prosperity to all. Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao also extended their greetings to Muslims. The Governor said that the holy month of Ramzan is a reminder of the purpose of life as ordained by God, and urged people to respect the dignity of human beings and the sanctity of life. The Chief Minister wished Muslims a happy celebration with their families and friends, and prayed for the prosperity of the state. He also reiterated his commitment to preserving religious harmony in Telangana.
