Gadwal: Today, the Brahmangari Temple in Aija hosted a “Monthly Ekal Abhiyan Training Camp.” Volunteers and leaders came together, eager to improve rural India through education, health, and sustainable jobs.
Bhagat Reddy, the Sanch President, was the chief guest. He spoke about how Ekal Abhiyan schools are changing rural areas by offering literacy, health awareness, and economic opportunities, especially in remote regions.
He stressed that education is key to their mission, but they now also focus on overall village development. This includes digital learning, empowering women, basic health services, sustainable farming, job creation, and skill training. These efforts aim to create self-reliant and forward-thinking rural communities.
Bhagat Reddy shared that the Ekal movement has over 400,000 active volunteers worldwide and aims to develop 36,000 integrated villages by 2030.
Motivational speaker Medikonda Venkatesh inspired attendees with a talk on “Moral Values as the Duty of Every Individual,” emphasizing ethics and righteous living for societal growth.
The event also saw participation from Ekal Abhiyan’s Anchal Mahadevam, Sanch Promukh Ranganath, Sanch Sadak Someshwaramma, local volunteers, women leaders, and teachers, who engaged in discussions and sessions.
The training camp ended with participants feeling energized and committed to advancing rural development and nation-building through Ekal’s model.
