    Wanaparthy Excise Sub-Inspector Sandhyarani has issued a warning to those involved in making and selling illicit liquor known as “sara.” She stated that strict action will be taken, and cases will be registered against offenders.

    Acting on the orders of Excise Superintendent Srinivasulu, the excise team conducted inspections near Chityala in Wanaparthy mandal on Saturday. These checks were part of efforts to curb illegal liquor activities in the area.

    During the inspections, a man named Ketawat Deepla was caught transporting 10 liters of “natu sara” from Chityala Padamati Thanda to Chityala village. He was arrested on the spot, and a case has been registered against him, according to Sub-Inspector Sandhyarani.
