To make travel safer during New Year celebrations, Hyderabad Metro will be running trains until midnight. The Managing Director of HMRL, NVS Reddy, announced this on Saturday. The last trains will depart from their originating stations at 12:15 am and arrive at their destinations around 1 am on January 1st. Metro Rail police and security personnel will be monitoring the trains and stations to prevent any misbehavior caused by intoxication.
KVB Reddy, the Managing Director of L&TMRHL, discussed the arrangements made for safe travel during late hours. He appealed to passengers to cooperate with the authorities and travel responsibly on the metro trains, ensuring that no untoward incidents occur.
