    The Faculty Teachers Association of Dr B R Ambedkar Open University in Hyderabad submitted a representation to Dr Banda Prakash, Deputy Chairman of Telangana State Legislative Council. They raised concerns about the pending payment of PRC dues and requested an increase in the retirement age limit for teachers from 60 to 65 years in universities across Telangana State.

    Dr Banda Prakash visited the university on Friday to attend a program at Ambedkar Open University. During this event, the teachers had the opportunity to meet him and discuss their issues. Dr Banda Prakash patiently listened to their problems and responded positively.

    He assured the teachers that the government would soon take necessary actions to address the problems faced by teachers in all universities across the state. He also mentioned that he would bring these two specific issues to the attention of the Education Minister and the Chief Minister.
