The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) will conduct a comprehensive one-day awareness program focused on digital platforms essential for exporters in Hyderabad on September 11, 2026. The event, supported by UCO Bank, will cover critical government portals including DGFT, GST & Customs, RBI and ECGC systems that are integral to export-import operations.
The program is specifically designed to help both new and existing exporters understand and navigate various government digital platforms used in international trade procedures. Subject matter experts will conduct live demonstrations covering essential services such as DGFT registration, IEC and RCMC procedures, ICEGATE, RoDTEP/RoSCTL schemes, Trade Connect, and RBI EDMP/IDMPS portals along with ECGC online services.
The training session will feature practical, hands-on learning rather than just theoretical knowledge. Participants will gain direct exposure to the actual functioning of relevant online portals through live demonstrations. Senior officials from ECGC will also participate in the program to explain the various services and benefits available to exporters through their platforms.
Mr. Unnikrishnan K., Joint Director General of FIEO, emphasized that the program is particularly beneficial for new entrepreneurs and businesses entering international trade. The live demonstrations are expected to help exporters navigate digital processes more efficiently and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in their export operations.
Interested exporters and business owners can register for the program by contacting Mr. R. Kulkarni, Head of the Telangana Chapter, at 9848286640 or via email at [email protected]. The initiative reflects FIEO’s ongoing commitment to support the export community through capacity building and knowledge sharing programs.
FIEO, established by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India in 1965, serves as the apex body representing government-recognised Export Promotion Councils, Commodity Boards and Development Authorities in India. The organization provides comprehensive services to exporters including market research, trade information, export promotion activities, organizing overseas trade fairs and exhibitions, training programs, and policy advocacy.
