Finish renovating government schools quickly says DC

Wanaparthy: On Wednesday, a meeting took place at the collectorate to discuss improving basic facilities in government schools and Anganwadi centers. Officials from the Panchayati Raj, TWDIC, and R&B departments were present.

Collector Adarsh Surabhi urged R&B engineers to collaborate with contractors to finish the incomplete projects under the Mana Ooru Mana Badi program. He promised that funds would be quickly approved for these pending tasks but highlighted the importance of completing them swiftly.

Surabhi observed that some renovations under the Amma Adarsha Pathashala committees had stalled. He insisted on the prompt completion of essential tasks like building toilets, providing drinking water, and installing fans. He advised contractors to finish repairs before seeking payment. With schools and Anganwadi centers reopening soon, he instructed officials to expedite both renovations and new constructions at Anganwadi centers.

The meeting included officials such as the EE TWDIC and DEs and AEs from the Panchayati Raj.
