Fire Erupts at Jawaharlal Nehru Pharma City, Injuring Four Workers

A fire broke out at the Jawaharlal Nehru Pharma City in Parawada, Visakhapatnam district. This is another industrial accident in Andhra Pradesh, happening not long after one at the Achyutapuram SEZ.

The fire started at the Synergen Active Ingredients company around midnight. It happened while chemicals were being mixed.

Four workers were injured in the fire. Unfortunately, one of them is in critical condition.

All the injured workers have been taken to a private hospital in Visakhapatnam for treatment.
