Hyderabad, July 9 (Namaste Telangana): The Environment Department in Hyderabad has reported that heavy rainfall is expected in several districts across the state for the next five days. The downpour began on Sunday and is expected to continue until the 13th. Alerts have been issued for many districts on the 12th and 13th. The city of Hyderabad is experiencing cloudy skies and heavy rain during the night. It has been stated that the maximum temperature will be recorded at 32 degrees Celsius. Heavy rains are also being witnessed in various northern states, including the national capital Delhi, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh.

The heavy rainfall in Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana has raised concerns among the residents. The continuous downpour has led to waterlogging in several low-lying areas, causing inconvenience to the people. The authorities have advised citizens to stay indoors and take necessary precautions. The local administration has also deployed rescue teams to assist those affected by the heavy rains.

In addition to Hyderabad, other districts like Warangal, Karimnagar, and Nizamabad are also witnessing heavy rainfall. The agricultural sector is expected to benefit from the abundant rains, as it will provide much-needed relief to farmers who have been struggling with drought-like conditions in recent years.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warnings for flash floods and landslides in hilly regions. Residents have been advised to stay away from vulnerable areas and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety.

The heavy rainfall in these regions is a result of the monsoon season, which brings much-needed relief after scorching summer temperatures. While the rain is a welcome change, authorities are closely monitoring the situation to prevent any untoward incidents and minimize the impact on people’s lives.
