Khammam: Former Malkajgiri MLA and Congress leader Mynampally Hanumant Rao made an important announcement on Monday. He said that, thanks to the efforts of Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, all the people displaced by the Munneru floods would either receive land to build houses or be given double-bedroom homes. Rao also urged opposition parties to stop criticizing the government on this issue.

Rao mentioned that the Congress government had previously set up HYDRA to prevent land sharks from illegally taking over lakes and other water bodies.

Rao expressed his sadness over the situation, noting that many poor people had lost their homes and become vulnerable due to the heavy rains and floods.
